I should go to sleep soon, but I probably won't, because I AM STUPID like that. I'm probably going to wind up going on another creative binge... wheeee. Can I just fast-foward to December 5? Please? I have to be responsible, but I want to create so badly. ;_;

Ha ha. Yeah, I woke up and dragged my sickly ass to class. I woke up later than my alarm should have woken me, but at least I woke up in time, as opposed to last week's Sleep-a-thon of Near-Death. I was like 1/2 hour late getting here, though. ::rotfl:: I suck. Thank god it's almost over.

So yeah. I'll probably feel much better later today, but right now I feel like puking. It's kind of like a hangover, but without the involvement of beer. Hey, that's not fair. :p I should at least have a little fun before the "morning after"-type effects.

That's my second mention of beer in the past 12 hours or so. ::rotfl:: B33R!!

Sleepy sleepy. Hrm. What else. Today's going to be a nice day. NO CLASS this afternoon! So I can take a nap after morning classes, and still get work hours in. And I have to camp out at home anyway and wait for the friendly UPS dude to bring me my spankin' new Palm Pilot. Ah, organization.

Anyways, I'm off.

WTF?!

Why can't I access gladstone or any other uoregon.edu resources today??! I was able to check my e-mail fine from Millrace this morning, even though I couldn't get it from here... and I am expecting a Very Important E-mail about how the hell I'm supposed to make the rest of my project work!! ::cries::

I am worried. Gah. This means I will probably have to go to work or something in order to read that e-mail. I really don't wanna go anywhere though. ;_; And I really can't, either, because my frickin' Palm Pilot hasn't shown up yet. Greh!!

At least if my STUPID BIKE worked, it wouldn't be so bad, but it doesn't. :p Walking is such a slow mode of transport. (god, I'm impatient)

Well, I suppose I should get cracking, then. SIGH.

Update: LOL... complain about something enough and it starts working again. ^_- I was sitting here pulling my socks on when I noticed that Cory's new mail sound was going off every couple of minutes, so I checked again, and lo, gladstone was working again.

Damnit, I should work on my blasted animatic project, but I don't want to, cos it'll probably just make my head explode. Why? Because, I got my reply from Todd about my problem, and he basically said that he didn't know what to suggest, because the process I described to him is exactly what he uses, and it's *supposed* to consistently work. And yet, for some reason, it DOESN'T.

The short version: I AM SCREWED.

I want to cry. ;_; I'm almost considering not turning it in, because the project really suffers without the pan shots that are refusing to work. But then my A- would magically turn into a non-passing grade. Goddamn grading. It's not my fault this time!!! ;_;

In other, much better news, my Palm Pilot is here, and it 0WNZ J00! I've been playing with it for the past hour or so. :D Now I will remember everything, and not have to wait to go home and check my calendar, or go rummaging about for my address book, or anything like that. It's all in ONE PLACE. ;_; How beautiful! And it has a cool snakey blue faceplate to go with it, too. I am stylin'! Now I just need a cool snakey blue faceplate for my cell phone, so they'll match. ::rotfl::

Computers must die, Part II.

So I had a BIG scare a little while ago... y'see, I was poking around with project stuff, when the computer froze all of a sudden. So, I had to reboot.

Except for the fact that it WOULDN'T BOOT UP.

Cue nervous breakdown.

I'm not sure what the problem was, but I tried booting up the poor little Mac again and again, and it wouldn't boot properly. (I guess the System Folder was goofed up or something...) But yeah, I was freaked out beyond all recognition. My entire project was on that machine, and I couldn't even get at it. x_x

Fortunately, James is God of All Macintoshes, so he fixed it for me. ;_; I would have been so screwed without him.

Argh. So I lost a couple hours of work time because the computer hosed itself. I got to put more info into my Palm while I waited, but I was hella, hella nervous.

I should probably just go to bed and call it a day, but I am ever vigilant and/or stubborn, so I'm going to go work on it now.
