Man, what a night. x_x This is a Friday, so it's supposed to be all lazy and relaxing, right? WRONG! ::lol:: I went and ran the Gaming Club meeting, and deflected much harassment regarding the absence of our regular administrative types. We ended up throwing around some ideas, getting volunteers for Gamex, and it went pretty well all in all. I somehow guilted myself into becoming the official Nagging Mother of the Gamex planning committee, so I get to go and bitch at everybody about getting stuff done in time. Hoo doggie.

After that, Dynee, James, and I hit the store, and then we dropped by Mike's to see how he was doing. He's been sick the past couple days, and he had no voice when we were there! We all had a nice time chatting though, even though Mike's side of the conversation involved him frantically scribbling things on a piece of paper. ^_^

I spent the past couple hours updating the Gaming Club web site. I got quite a bit done on it though, so hopefully people won't become too much more disillusioned with the state of affairs. I keep forgetting how much I adore the design I made for it. It's pretty slickie.

I have no idea what I'm going to do now, but I'll tell you one thing: It will NOT involve anything having to do with the Gaming Club! I think 3-4 hours out of my day is enough for now.
I'm still awake... I did some tweaking and added to the archives at Utena Network, and now I feel like working on a music video. Unfortunately, I'm feeling rather uninspired towards my Lost Universe video right now. That, combined with the fact that Premiere crashed every time I try to export an AVI with the DivX codec, is getting me a bit frustrated.

What I REALLY want is for my friggin' Lain boxed set to get here, cos I could do a *million* things with that much footage, especially for a show as completely cracked out and open to interpretation as that. Either that, or I'll have to capture more Utena videos and work around the subtitles. That was the really annoying part of making Deep As You Go work decent, and I could have done that one a *lot* better.

Maybe I should just give up and go to bed. Shyeeah, right. :p
Your Butt is Wide, but Mine Is too

I have somehow retained a near-depressing amount of random facts about fitness and weight loss, despite the fact that I am far from being the poster child for health. And you know why? Because I previously spent an even *more* depressing number of my years on this earth worrying about being FAT.

And you know, all that worrying sure hasn't made anything BETTER.

As it stands right now, I wouldn't call myself *fat*, and as far as I can tell nobody else would either, aside from my tiny, small-boned Chinese mother, because she still can't quite wrap her brain around the fact that I posess a large bone frame and an unusual amount of muscle mass in my lower body. But I'm definitely not in tip-top shape, I'll give her that much.

I currently outweigh my current boy toy by about 30 pounds, give or take. Wouldn't know it by looking at me, eh?

(P.S. I'm going to bed. And Weird Al kicks ass. Y'all betta recognize, yo! ;p)
I've been awake for about an hour. It's been pretty dull, and I'm tired. I went to bed at 5, and then woke up at 9 or so and couldn't sleep. Got back to sleep around 10:30.

Today looks pretty clear. I have reading that I should do, but I probably won't, because I got such horribly interrupted sleep last night, so I'll end up crashing the minute I try to.
I'm taking off for much fun and frolic in a minute here. I'm gonna pop in on Open Gaming Night to get the ball rolling, and then I think I am making something for dinner with Dynee and Mike, and watching movies too.

BTW, for the curious, I'm uploading the scant bit of sequencing I've done so far on my Lost Universe music video. Set to "Man-Size", by PJ Harvey. (Yes, there *is* a long sequence in the middle that is audio only... that'll be filled in with footage later.)
