Tonight

I had a nice time tonight overall. Gaming night got a nice start, so I took off with Dynee to Mike's, and he made us some spaghetti for dinner, and he bought this *awesome* bread that I need to find for myself one of these days. Yum! We watched A Midsummer Night's Dream on video, and it was actually pretty cute. They set it in a more Victorian kind of setting, which was interesting, and involved them chasing each other on bicycles a lot. O_o; Michelle Pfeiffer's costume and make-up were gorgeous, and I absolutely adore Kevin Kline. He's far too yummy to be in his 50s, damnit. ;_;

I went back to Carson to hopefully get in on some games, but it was in the process of breaking up when I got there. SUCK ASS. :p So I guess I missed out on that, but it's okay, because I enjoyed the movie and everything. David and Sarah came over and hung out for a while after gaming got done too, and that was nice. Amer was badgering me into making him a layout earlier, but I ultimatley didn't feel like it. I'm feeling pretty uninspired at this moment. Maybe tomorrow will be better.

...that it is time for BED! :O I should think about *not* sleeping until mid-afternoon today. Hopefully I won't get jolted awake again after four hours like I did last night, because that really sucked. A LOT.

Random tidbit of the day: I made some Velveeta Shells and Cheese to go with my salad for lunch, and the box felt oddly heavy when I took it out of the cabinet. I opened the box, and there were TWO packets of cheese in the box! Awww yea. Sucks to be the guy who got gypped out of his cheese packet. ^_-

I just had to check out Jess' link to Guess the Dictator/TV Sitcom Character. It really *is* frighteningly accurate. And when I put in answers based on my own personality, it thought I was Daphne from Frasier. LMAO!

This is an improvement on last Sunday, when I slept until about 4:30 in the afternoon. Maybe I'll actually be able to get up for sectional tomorrow. Today I have reading to do, and Aleisha also mentioned a sale at Jo Ann Fabrics, so we're gonna scope that out. I still need to find some felt or fur for the Kero-chan outfit that I eventually have to make for James. The costume itself shouldn't be too difficult, just a full-body suit with a tail, but the hard part will most likely be the giant paper mache ball that has to fit over his head. MUCH FUN!

Whoooo!

We had a large excursion to Office Depot, so Zach and Cory could buy desks. I ended up buying this totally slickie office chair, because I've been sitting on a crappy, half-broken chair for the past few months, and it probably isn't doing my back any favours. I have to figure out how to put it together, which should be interesting. We're off to the fabric store in a bit.

I love my new executive chair. I just put it together and it's soooo nice. *_* I got a great deal on it too... all the other leather chairs in the store were upwards of $200, and I paid well under $100 for this one. Black leather is sexy. ^_-

Next month, if cash permits, I'm gonna snag me a new desk, because this one is ugly and nasty looking, and I can't even fit my keyboard on it completely. Granted, I'm using this desk for free b/c the landlord had it to spare, so I shouldn't be complaining, but still, a new desk would rock. There was this totally boss one at the store too... I hope they get more! ;_;

HOORAY!

Watched X-F just now, mainly because of the promised Mulder scenes! It was nice. :D Mulder needs to come back so they can make little Sculder babies. Doggett was pretty neat too, and it was very sweet when he was assuring Scully that he'd help her find Mulder. Awwww! ;_; I might start keeping up with the show again, hopefully. I thought this week was good.

I'm going to read now, and probably watch some Nick at Nite too, because old TV is cool. :D I wanna spend more time in my fancy chair!! But I have work to do.
