Video frustrations

I'm still awake... I did some tweaking and added to the archives at Utena Network, and now I feel like working on a music video. Unfortunately, I'm feeling rather uninspired towards my Lost Universe video right now. That, combined with the fact that Premiere crashed every time I try to export an AVI with the DivX codec, is getting me a bit frustrated.

What I REALLY want is for my friggin' Lain boxed set to get here, cos I could do a *million* things with that much footage, especially for a show as completely cracked out and open to interpretation as that. Either that, or I'll have to capture more Utena videos and work around the subtitles. That was the really annoying part of making Deep As You Go work decent, and I could have done that one a *lot* better.

Maybe I should just give up and go to bed. Shyeeah, right. :p

Yeah, that's the plan. I'm trying to do one for Lost Universe right now, but I'm feeling kind of uninspired on that one... I only have the early part of the series to work with.

Over the summer I had the pleasure of meeting the creators of Lain. They were a great bunch of guys. They had a question answer forum and people would ask what certain things mean, and they would just tell people it's meant for interpretation and to get what *you* could get out of it. Have you seen the video that is currently floating out around on the net for Lain? Also I was fortunate enough to get a promotional Lain DVD from pioneer at the same event, which has multi-angles and different music and what not with Lain footage.

I know I've seen one Lain music video, though I can't remember where I found it. It was really freakin' professional-looking though. :D

I ordered the DVD boxed set with the lunchbox dealie a while back, and it's still not here. They had problems getting my credit card to work, and I think they might have shipped all the fucking things to other people before I was able to help them make the stupid card work for mine. Grrrr. >_<
