Hell if I know. I always thought it was pretty retarded. That could just be because I have no coordination, though.

I'd *like* to think it's from some deep-seated need for violence, so they can go around kicking something repeatedly. Hell, that's why I'd do it, if I were a fan of the activity. But then again, if you're going for the physical aspect, there are probably bigger and far more satisfying things to kick around than a hackey sack.

And, seeing that the only people who ever seem to play it anymore are potheads and hippies, they're probably too mellowed out by weed or by faux-Taoism to be motivated by such things. ;p

Yar har har. I made some truly awesome pasta for dinner tonight--I think I've finally perfected the sauce. Bwa ha ha! Hopefully somebody else will eat it, too, because I made a metric buttload of it.

I'm at the job. It's Sunday. NOBODY IS GOING TO BE DRINKING. But yeah, whatever. I was all annoyed at having to miss QAF this week, but then I remembered that it was a rerun. Timing is so good. I don't want to get up for the day job tomorrow, though. I've been all backwards in my sleep habits since Friday, so it will actually be difficult to get up for a noon shift. ;p

I *cannot* believe that Adrien Brody nabbed Best Actor at the Oscars! O_o; I didn't actually see the movie, so I can't comment on his performance, but I'm surprised they didn't hand it over to one of the bigger names. This is not a complaint by any means, though. I'd rather see a lesser-known actor win for *really* acting, rather than seeing a big name win for using the same basic schtick he's been relying on for years.

I didn't watch the awards show, BTW. They're always irritating. ;p
