...I was subjected to an ART VIDEO this morning. Oh my lordy, did I fall asleep fast. The plus side was they had this 70-foot long Chinese scroll painting and it was really cool and detailed, with a bunch of little people gathering to see the Emperor. It was kinda like a Where's Waldo Roll-Up, cos there were a *ton* of little figures scattered throughout.
The minus side was the British guy who kept yammering on and on about different parts of the painting, and the droning voice was more than enough to make a girl running on less than 4.5 hours of sleep doze off more than once. Oh well.
After that, we went around the art building looking for a nice, long hallyway to draw in perspective. I love doing perspective, and I rock at it. :D This makes me want to sketch out a re-mix of my Mama's head study that I did for my class last summer. It would be neat to try it without using paint, and maybe it'll fool this year's prof into thinking that I'm a wacky surrealist too. ^_-
Mrrrr, 1.5 hours until lunch.

Annoyances
Jul. 2nd, 2001 12:09 pma) The weather. It's too hot outside! And James hasn't set up the air conditioner yet, so it's going to be roasty toasty when I get home today. ;_;
b) Art supplies. They cost too bloody much.
c) People who post completely pointless things in a public forum not once, not twice, but CONSTANTLY. It's annoying. And half the time, they don't even use proper english, so it's "omg u won't believe whut i just looked at it's so kewl" and other crap all run together into a great, big, run-on sentence.
On the plus side, I finally got some new Gelly Roll pens today! I love gel pens, they glide across the paper so smoothly :D
It's time for lunch! Whoopee!

Anybody wanna tell me why Outlook 2000 locks up every time I try to start it?? It's been doing this for days now, despite reboots and virus checks and the whole bit. Piece of crap. :p
Paid the bills (yecch) and now it's time to relaaaax for a bit until James gets home from work, and then the 3 of us can talk about dinner.
