This is significant!

So the name of the new Tori CD is "Strange Little Girls". When you abbreviate the title, it comes out as "SLG"... which also happens to be my initials! SO, that makes it even more imperative that I buy this CD the first chance I get! ::lmao::

I'll write about the goings on of this evening tomorrow... right now I have to get ready for bed, cos I'm going to be dead again in the morning. x_x

So it's another day of being tired for me! LOL! But I had fun last night, so it was worth it. And I got to have a mocha and a bagel this morning during class, on orders from my prof. She rocks. :)

Anyhoo, last night I saw Evolution again (cos I promised James I'd go with him) with James, Cory, Felicia, Steely!Dan, Sarah, and Avery. James about had an attack at all the ludicrous biology stuff in the script... the rest of us just laughed. After that we stopped at Shari's to grab some eatables and some good conversation. It was phun :D

Anyhoo, back to the task of the alumni newsletter... I'm almost done with it, if you can believe that!

Dude, are any of y'all ("y'all" being Douglass posse types) planning anything for the 4th? I'm curious as to what the hey we could do.

Mike is trying to talk me into going up to Portland for Julian's annual shindiggy... whether or not I actually go mainly hinges on what James thinks of it. (he'll say that we should go if I want to, of course, but I'll be able to tell his true feelings about the idea just from that ^_-)

I myself am ambivalent about the whole idea. It would be nice to see everybody, especially since it's been a long-ass time since I've been up there. But being around Julian's family all day does not exactly ring my bell. I mean jeesh, they were intimidating enough when I was dating the guy, who knows how it'd be post-dumping? ^^;;;;;

And, my going or not also hinges on what is or isn't going on down in Eugene. If anybody's got any bright ideas, do speak up. :)

So according to Wedsie, Media Blasters bought the rights to Weiss Kreuz! ;_; IIRC, Media Blasters is responsible for some less-than-stellar production on previous anime that it has acquired.

And get this: they're calling it "KNIGHT HUNTERS". ::vomit::

Iron Chef USA?? O_o;

Apparently the american version of Iron Chef is premiering in a couple months! I dunno if I'm excited or not.

Plus: there will be no cheesy, unenthusiastic dubbing.
Minus: WILLIAM SHATNER?? Sir, you may be a sci-fi legend in the eyes of some, but you are most certainly NOT a match for Chairman Kaga. ;_;

Me sleepy. Fortunately, I don't have to work or go to class or *anything* tomorrow. Boo-yah!

Wouldn't you know it, I'm wide awake again. You watch, I probably won't be able to fall asleep until 3am tonight. I swear, it's some kind of disorder with me. :p

So today I get to welcome three more people into the LJ fold . It's spreading like a virus with the locals, and I don't even have to shamelessly plug the service anymore. Hoo! I feel like such a mastermind. >:D

I'm noticing that a lot of the newer folks write these semi-involved paragraphs and try to be deep with their first entry, when we all know that THIS is The Only Way to start off a Livejournal! ^_-
