batskeets...I was subjected to an ART VIDEO this morning. Oh my lordy, did I fall asleep fast. The plus side was they had this 70-foot long Chinese scroll painting and it was really cool and detailed, with a bunch of little people gathering to see the Emperor. It was kinda like a Where's Waldo Roll-Up, cos there were a *ton* of little figures scattered throughout.
The minus side was the British guy who kept yammering on and on about different parts of the painting, and the droning voice was more than enough to make a girl running on less than 4.5 hours of sleep doze off more than once. Oh well.
After that, we went around the art building looking for a nice, long hallyway to draw in perspective. I love doing perspective, and I rock at it. :D This makes me want to sketch out a re-mix of my Mama's head study that I did for my class last summer. It would be neat to try it without using paint, and maybe it'll fool this year's prof into thinking that I'm a wacky surrealist too. ^_-
