* Histrionic Personality Disorder
* Narcissistic Personality Disorder
* Avoidant Personality Disorder
* Dependent Personality Disorder
* Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder
* Anorexia Nervosa
* Bulimia Nervosa
-------------------

I'm not surprised about the Depressive Disorder, mainly because I spent a year or two being depressed pretty much non-stop, a few years ago. I wouldn't consider myself a victim of clinical depression, however... those were some pretty harsh extenuating circumstances.

And I have *no* idea where Schizoid comes from. Just cos I picked solitary activities a lot of the time? WHATEVER. ::asldfkahsdkflahsdfklasd::

So I got Cory to go see Swordfish with me and then we hit Shari's for a late deener. The movie was actually pretty fun. Not as bad as the critics have been saying, IMHO... it was just so insanely over-the-top in some parts that you knew they couldn't have been taking themselves *too* seriously! I get the feeling a lot of critics missed that nuance... I found it rather charming, myself. (although I must say, the bj scene was a bit much x_x)

Let's see. I feel like staying up and watching something, but I also feel like going to bed. I should probably do the latter.

UGH.

Look at the plot synopsis for crazy/beautiful. It's like Save The Last Dance without Julia Stiles and that wretched ballet/hip-hop mush-together that wishes it was art. :p WHAT is with all these movies making a big hairy deal about interracial relationships?? Guess what, America? IT HAPPENS. :p I mean kee-rist, my ma grew up poor Chinese and my dad grew up all middle-class americana, and yet nobody seems to bat an eye at that. And *I* am a 1/2 asian girl dating a 1/2 hispanic guy, and do you think anyone's having a cow about it and making a movie about *us*? Of course not. Why? because it's NOT THAT BIG A DEAL.

I personally find it rather insulting that Hollywood thinks they can exploit race for the sake of a crappy movie plot. It's not as though black people, or hispanic people, or any other colour of person is that much different from the stereotypical white american. Take me, for instance. James and I come from different races *and* different economic backgrounds, but somehow, we both grew up to be big ol' nerds who love computers and anime! I've met a lot of people here at school who share my interests, but we all have very different backgrounds in some very important ways. It shouldn't be such a big freakin' surprise to people!!

So, in short: race does not determine who you are. The only way anyone's going to stop thinking that things like interracial relationships are strange is if the mass media at large stops making such a gigantic fuss over it. So PISS OFF, Hollywood. :p

And I'm spent!
