Had a fun weekend... the Halloween party we threw was quite the success! We did random stuff like bobbing for apples and this Australian game where you chew up gum and then are blindfolded, and try to stick your gum on the witch's wart. And we had some awesome snacks, courtesy of me and James. :D :D :D I went as Saint Tail, finally getting to wear that cosplay outfit I worked so hard on last spring. :D

Today was a nice, lazy day. I watched the Utena movie and some Yuu Yuu Hakusho, and at one point had Paul and both of the Dans helping me out with making Inaho work. It was less than successful, and we kept getting a primary hard drive failure. I got past that problem myself just now, because I remembered that Western Digital has different jumper settings for master and single drives. ::groans:: Now I'm kind of stuck but hopefully some of the boys will be able to help out again. :) I'm going to bed now.

Today I slept in and spent most of the day playing around with Inaho. She actually has an operating system and everything now, which is great! I'm still waiting on her kick-ass video card, which arrives tomorrow, and after that, who knows? I'm kinda hoping to test out the DVD drive soon.

Here I am, posting to my LJ for the first time, from my now fully-operational new computer, Inaho! :D 800mhz Athlon Thunderbird processor, 256MB ram, 45GB hard drive. I'm gonna pull my 13gig over from Shecky in the next day or so, and I have a Voodoo5 video card (64mb, buddy!) schedule to arrive by UPS tomorrow. Rawk! :D

What am I doing now? Well, I tested out my DVD drive and it seems to be kosher, although we have no sound... so I gotta poke around in the box and make sure I hooked the sound cable up right. ::groans:: But I'm stoked. And I got my first 2 DVDs in the mail today too. :D But enough babble... back to work!
