Thanksgiving "Orphans'" Dinner?

batskeetsHey dudes. So the holidays are looming, and it occurs to me that I ought to, you know, make some actual PLANS for it. ;p
On that note, I recall hearing about friends getting together for an "Orphans' Dinner" in recent years past, so I wanted to toss the notion out there and gauge interest. Is anyone up for something like this here in PDX? Potluck style, or planned in advance with folks helping cook if they like?
I'd also be willing to host such a thing, if there's interest. It might even motivate me to get a non-ghetto dining room table and chairs, like I've been wanting to. ;)
Thoughts? Suggestions? Hit me up.
