Hey dudes. So the holidays are looming, and it occurs to me that I ought to, you know, make some actual PLANS for it. ;p

On that note, I recall hearing about friends getting together for an "Orphans' Dinner" in recent years past, so I wanted to toss the notion out there and gauge interest. Is anyone up for something like this here in PDX? Potluck style, or planned in advance with folks helping cook if they like?

I'd also be willing to host such a thing, if there's interest. It might even motivate me to get a non-ghetto dining room table and chairs, like I've been wanting to. ;)

Thoughts? Suggestions? Hit me up.

I'm not sure what me and Paris's plans are at the moment, but I'm potentially interested. Usually we go visit her Mom, but things are complicated this year.

I think we'll actually be on a plane on Thanksgiving. :(

I'm down. In fact, in some circles I am known as "Gravy Girl".

Which now that I think of it, would be a great superhero for The Alter Egos Society.

Yeah, we were kicking around the idea of hosting a "Peasants Dinner" for turkey day...if the three of us were to collaborate on something that would be awesome, especially since you have more space available.

We should talk about this. Give me a call when you can or shoot me a text.

I have no family or friends - that'd rock!

As of now, I'm probably going to have to fly out to florida for turkey day. But there is a chance that my dad won't be able to get a plane ticket. In that instance, I'm interested. Neal doesn't have family in town either, so he might be down as well. :)

I know Mike and Lexx are coming over to our place for a non-traditional Thanksgiving. You are welcome to join in!

I usually host a turkey-day-for-orphans myself. This year I'm not really sure.

Last year we fed a bunch of strippers. Talk about thankful!

Duly noted :) And if y'all would like a bit more room to spread out, I'd be happy to host, if you like!

Josh is most likely to come if we get a ride from someone, so I guess if Amber and Cherie go, Josh probably will.
