I'm awake and I'm feeling okay, on the whole. :O Today I go to the gym, apply for a couple more on-campus jobs, and make some fah-bulous food for dinner.

[livejournal.com profile] monkeyhole basically confirmed my theory about the computer (thanks!), i.e. that a problem such as mine is due to a faulty power supply or a faulty motherboard... which is a really annoying problem because they're BOTH BRAND NEW! ::tears out hair:: So, I'm not really sure which one is the culprit, since I just got them both. I'm kind of hoping it's the power supply, though, because I bought it in town, so it'd be a lot easier to return it.

I wish I had more to say, but ehhhh, I don't. ::rotfl:: More later, ne?

Yep, I can take the power supply back to the store within 30 days :) The board, on the other hand, would be a pain in the butt to return because I got it thru online order, so I'd have to ship it back and everything. So let's hope you're right! :).

Can you borrow a power supply from anyone?

That's what I did last time my power supply went to confirm it was the power supply and not the board. Then it was a quick trip to CompUSA to get a stop-gap power supply to hold me until I rebuilt the whole rig.

I have my old power supply, but that's not enough to power the new board and processor... I'll sniff around and see what else I can find though. Thanks :)d
