Ah, progress.
Dec. 17th, 2001 08:02 pmSo, I sat down and got workish stuff done earlier this afternoon. I will, in all probability, go downstairs and borrow Felicia's scanner later, and get even *more* workish stuff done then.
Then, post-5pm, I did some shopping. I got the Christmas cards I needed (although I neglected to buy stamps... d'oh) as well as wrapping paper, some necessary foodstuffs, and a couple gifts for people as well. I lucked out and found something neat for my aunt, when I hadn't really decided what to get her yet, and I also picked up the thingy I had in mind for James.
I was going to cross another gift off my list today as well, but all they had at Fred Meyer was a cheapo plastic version of what I had in mind, instead of the cool ones I'd seen, and the cool ones were completely out of stock!! Geh. But at least now I know how much it'll cost me, so that's good enough. I have a couple other places in mind where I could find them tomorrow or the next day.
I went here just now and submitted some names: Slippy, Splashy, and Squee. "Slippy" was me following Brad's lead, and the others were because I thought they were cute, and they start with "S" so you get that nice alliterative effect when you read "Splashy/Squee the SQL dolphin." I am easily amused, ja?
Anyhow, I'm back to doing... something. Haven't thought that far ahead, yet. Probably Christmas cards.
