Did I mention that Fridays KICK ASS?? :D

So I got my writing assignment done no problem. I even had time to slowly re-copy it, so the kana would look all tidy and nice. And I also think I kicked butt on my Japanese midterm, too. And I had a lovely lunch at home, and plenty of sleep, and I'm generally in a cheery mood. I <3 everything!

I ordered a few items from Reflect.com today. Their products can be pretty price-y, but it's *good stuff*. It's nice to have fancy makeup that's specifically matched to your skintone, facial features, and colouring when you're a wacky multiracial chick like myself. Apparently, the eyeshadow set even comes with a booklet of DIRECTIONS for different ways to apply it that best flatter your eye/brow shape and placement. Oh, how fancy! It's been too long since I've experimented with my face... I'll have great fun when the shipment arrives.

Online shopping is *such* an enabler to me and my propensity for acquiring stuff that I may or may not need. I also bought some of that Nad's hair-removal gel today, cos I'm getting sick of plucking my stupid eyebrows. I can never get the hairs out on the first try with tweezers, and it takes too long, and it friggin' hurts, so since Nik used that gel when she helped me with my brows that one time, I figure I should try it.

Okay, enough with the girly-girl cosmetics talk. What's goin' on tonight, kiddies? :D Much fun must be had! Something has to happen, or else I'll just go home and watch TV/sleep, and that would suck. I say we should go see a movie tonight! There are several that I'd be interested in, and I stiiiill have those free passes...

Anyhoo, yeah, send me messages/e-mails, post a comment, whatever. Entertain me! ^_-

Heh, I'm not sure, as I'm not generally a wearer of much concealer or foundation-ish stuff. (My ma's got good genes, I guess. ^^;) I did the little sample powder compact they sent me, though... was quite nice for evening out my skintone.

Yow.

$48 for EYESHADOW?!?!?! Lawdy. That stuff had better apply itself. I am sure it must be really good stuff, though. :)

I coulda taken you to the drugstore and done what that site did (analyze you), for like, a quarter of the price. :) Fortunately (unfortunately?) I've tried every makeup brand there is. If you'd ever like to do that, let me know, I'd be happy to.

Heh, I'm mostly in it for the whole customization aspect... getting all the features I want in one product. And it's soooo easy to just buy online, hence my prior statement: Online shopping is *such* an enabler to me and my propensity for acquiring stuff that I may or may not need. ::rotfl::

So last fall I did the Boston-NY AIDS Ride, right? Okay, so, there it was, day two. Day two was about a 95 mile run from Storrs to Bridgeport, which is to say most of the length of Connecticut. CT's a lot hillier than you probably think. Anyway, early that evening, probably around five-thirty or so, I was coming into Bridgeport, about 5 miles out of camp. Came up the crest of a hill and passed a Walgreens with a sign out front bearing the following legend:

"WE HAVE NADS"

Let me tell you, at mile ninety that's the FUNNIEST THING EVER.
