batskeetsI managed to squeeze in that workout and still make it to the Week of Welcome thing. Sarah and I said a few words about the GC and got rid of the rest of our mini-flyer thingers there, it was easier than we thought. Again, the guys reacted significantly better than the ladies. Darn it all! :p Chicks just hate us, or something.
I ended up tailing Sarah to the lab after that, and we stood around jawing with the labbies for a bit. Holmstrom now officially rates as Hella Cool... he seems so much more laid-back and approachable after being at a normal social function where he's in attendance. Or maybe that's just me. ::shrug::
Now I'm at work. I was half-tempted to stay in/around the EMU and try out the wireless networking, but I didn't know whether or not it would work, so it's probably something I should do outside of my work time, for the first time around. ^^; I hope it works well though, because it would certainly be cool if I could sit outside in the sun and work at the same time. I don't get out enough, sometimes.
