I have some coolville daddy-o software now. I have Premiere 6 and Bryce 4 to play with! Bryce is neat. I can make creepie environment renders and stuff now. Oooo, the fun times. :D I was supposed to end up with Illustrator 9 instead of Illustrator 7 too, but I can't get the install to go. ;_; One of these years I'll get lots of money, so I can buy all this software for real. (well, all the stuff that's actually cool, anyway.)

Anyhow, I need to get off my bum bum bum and make some din din din. I am hungry! Grrr! :O

software!

I don't know if modeling is your thing, but I have a copy of Maya Unlimited 2.x I got for a friend awhile back. Kind of a bitch to get going but worth it in the end if your into it.

I don't have a lot of experience w/modeling or 3-d stuff, but it's definitely something I wouldn't mind getting into :)

Bryce is a rather crappy piece of software; the renderer is slug-slow, and AFAIK, it lacks features found even in less-specialized software.

OTOH, if you want to churn out lots of nifty but not especially convincing landscapes without a lot of fuss, I guess Bryce can't be beat, since it's custom-designed for that purpose.

Well hey, I've done rendering how much? Uh, never? ;p

I gotta agree though, the app does leave something to be desired... the UI is scary, for one. I couldn't figure out for the life of me how to save a document made in Bryce without exiting the entire program. WTF? :p
