So apparently this is the lady playing Subcommander T'Pol on the new Star Trek series. This is looking like a total throwback to Seven of Nine and Counselor Cleavage--er, Troi:

(Yes, she posed for MAXIM, of all things >_<)

Anybody wanna place bets on how long it takes them to do a Pon Farr episode? ::lmao::

I recall reading somewhere that only Vulcan Males underwent Pon Farr. I can't find it now though..

-Aaron, who is not too excited about the new series..

Heh, well if they did have T'Pol undergo Pon Farr, it wouldn't exactly be the *first* time one of the new series has done something contradictory to the older series. ;p

I want to be excited about the show, but I'm also trying not to get my hopes up too much, cos Voyager was poo.

Yes, that can be expected. They'll probably toss out that silly Logic thing too while they're at it.

The thing which many people are saying, and I agree with is that Enterprise is an excuse to ignore all the rules that made Star Trek what it is. No Federation, No Prime Directive, etc.

As for Voyager, I enjoyed it.. They had some good writing on it, although it certainly wasn't the best of the set.
Things they did right:
  • Getting rid of Kes

  • Adding 7 of 9
  • (for those of you who are immature, I do not say this based on Jeri Ryan's physical attributes.)
  • Having Tom and B'Elanna get married. Good Relationship developement

Things they did wrong (not all inclusive):
  • Too many encounters with the Borg

  • Making the Borg complete wusses

  • Having an unusually large complement of shuttles

  • Almost anything having to do with the Borg

Oh dear. Just when I thought there might be something redeemable about "Enterprise" (okay, there is -- SCOTT!!!). I can't make too much fun of Counselor Cleavage (that's too funny -- that's what we used to call her too)...I used to dress up like her at cons. ;-)

LOL, I was too afraid of sexually frustrated fanboys to dress like Troi! ::lol:: But then again, I was no older than 13 when I was going to cons, so that doesn't make for the best cleavage anyway ^_-

I miss it too although considering how awful the last season was, I don't miss it *that* much. :-p

I too believe that only Vulcan males under-go Pon Farr, but I doubt that will stop them...

Roddenberry isn't rolling in his grave any more, by now he's probably dancing like Michael Flately in there...

LOL :) Well at least they have Scott Bakula on board... he's such a likeable actor, IMHO.
