batskeetsGetting home from work does not mean relaxation, friends. I had to run a few errands right when I got home, because places would close if I didn't leave right away. After that, I went nuts getting good deals at Safeway on fruits and veggies and a couple other miscellaneous things. Best deal of the day: a 1lb bag of salad for $0.28! Not bad for a screwball kid, eh? ^_-
After that, it was nice, though. I made some progress on Flicking It!, and I'm almost at the point where I'd feel okay about opening the site. I still need to write my Soapbox column, but I haven't really had a chance to look at the 50 Most Beautiful articles yet. ^^;;; Soon, though, soon.
And speaking of movies, it was movie night at Felicia's again, and this time around we watched It Happened One Night. It was a very enjoyable movie, and I can see why it won so many big Academy awards. I think I kind of understand what the big deal was about Clark Gable now, too. All I'd ever seen him in prior to tonight was Gone With the Wind, and his character, uh, didn't exactly grow on me there. But in *this* movie, he definitely had a real charm about him, and you couldn't help but like the character. Overall, an A+ film! :D
