WOO!

Today was FUN. We all got up early (well, early for a Sunday) and Felicia and I dyed easter eggs, and then Sarah and David came over with more eggs, and then all of us, minus James because he had too much werk to do, traipsed off to the grassy quad area near Deady and had a little egg hunt! :D Nikki and Nora met us there, and then David, Cory, and Felicia hid eggs, and the rest of us looked for them. I found 6, and then decided to sit down for a bit because Aunt Flo said I should. (hur hur hur :p) Then we were down to the last 2 and Cory was giving us hints... I charged over to one of them before anybody got the chance. I almost got the second one too, but right after I spotted the fire hydrant and started running off towards it, the longer-legged people took off after me and beat me there. Damned tall people! ;p We also recruited a new guy for the gaming club too, somebody that Sarah once had a class with. He seemed like a neat guy. And anybody that promises to come to Gamex automatically wins bonus points from me right now. ::rotfl::

The rest of the afternoon was fairly lazy, I just curled up on the couch for some blankie time, and watched The Postman on TBS. I don't know why everyone thought that movie was so awful, because I like it fine. After that I made dinner, which included some of the *wonderful* ham that James made last night for the big almost-Easter dinner. I have concluded that I am the master of all pasta now, since I have my sauce recipes down to where I don't have to measure anything out or look at an ingredients list. So, I must expand my horizons at some point.

After that it was time for Linguistics reading. They pre-empted X-Files tonight, which ticked me off, because last week really got me hyped, even though Mulder was jerky throughout the whole thing. Reading went less slowly tonight for some reason... maybe because it was a Sunday and I wasn't all worn out from a day of running around between classes and work and errands. I also hadn't spent much time on the computer, which probably helped.

I have to say that I'm very happy with my life right now. I've done some very family-like things with certain friends lately, and that's been really cool. It's nice to be able to throw myself into something like Easter so naturally, especially since my fam essentially stopped doing anything much with the holiday once I hit age 13. It's also a good thing to be able to do when your family is over 1000 miles away.

I think it is bedtime. I don't have to be up too early tomorrow, but I may be anyway. I might try doing Pilates in the morning on MWF to get my motor running better. I'd have to get up too damned early on Tues/Thurs to do it though. Bletch. :p

OH YEAH! I got a UPS shipping notice this evening in my e-mail, so I think that means the guy from eBay shipped my DDR pad. Oh, the excitement! It was so cheap too... I'll be playing with it enough that it'll make up for the cost pretty quickly. I think it was $1 per play in Cali, which is pretty steep.

Anyhow, time to pack it in. G'night!

It's not THAT bad of a movie. It's just that the book kicked so unbelievably much ass that, in comparison, it winds up trying to say "hello" with a well grounded donkey blocking the airflow.
