I've been trying to order an additional network address from @Home since last night, and their customer support has been absolutely *no* help. The first time their answer had nothing to do with my question, and the second time sounded like they made the assumption that I'm an idiot and can't read directions. >_< It's *THEIR* stupid form, not me!!

Did you ever work this problem out? If not, say to heck with @home and buy a home networking router. These things are absolutely transparent to @home (or any other ISP), and you can network to your heart's content over your cable connection...up to 200+ computers, if you really want to go nuts. You can save a lot of money that way, if you're going to have more than 2 machines.

Just thought I'd put that out there... I set one up for a friend and the longest part of the process was stringing network cable through his attic.

That might be cool, actually... how much does it cost to do that sort of thing? I'm kinda low on cash at this juncture, but that may change soon...

The router (http://www.thetechzone.com/reviews/routers/smc/barricade700br/index.shtml) I recommended for my friend was $130 or so after rebate. There are others available for about $100, but this got the best reviews. It *is* a good chunk o' change, especially if you're strapped, but if you look at the long term benefits, it's worth it. After 6 months, it earns its money back, less time if you hook up more computers.
