"I'm always around."
Jul. 3rd, 2006 12:15 pmTonight: karaoke at the Black Forest, sometime after 9pm! Let me know if you're game. The more the merrier, and you don't even have to sing, if you don't want to.
I spent most of Saturday trying to clear off my desk and pack things up to some degree, until I got tired of it and went running. I went and had some good times doing karaoke after that... we had planned on hitting up the Lone Star, and even wore cowboy hats for the occasion, but we apparently showed up on the one weekend when they didn't have karaoke. :p So, we hopped around to Peabody's and then the Red Lion instead. I think I got too drunk and sounded really yelly and crappy on some of my later songs, but it was still fun.
I miss real food. I don't think I've actually cooked my dinner even once over the past week. MUST go to the store and get real food very soon. x_x
Moving wasn't too bad, for the most part.
numfar and
polysciguy were awesome and helped me haul the big stuff across town. It's not completely over yet, but I got a lot of it out of the way. I was up until 1:30 last night shuffling furniture around.
A big ol' posse of us went to see Superman last night, after the whole moving thing was wrapped up for the day, and I liked it quite a bit! I wasn't wild about Lois Lane, but I've never really been wild about Kate Bosworth. I thought the other actors did a nice job, though. Brandon Routh got ahold of some of the essence that Christopher Reeve brought to the role, and Kevin Spacey was pretty effin' awesome.
Anyhoo, I hope to go running tonight, and move a few more things. I also have the aforementioned karaoke plans, and it's apparently also Louie's birthday, so I'm not sure what's going to happen. (aside from me attempting to tow them along with me to karaoke, muahaha)
P.S. I forgot my cell phone charger yesterday, so my phone might die sometime in the afternoon...
P.P.S. Anybody have nifty 4th of July plans?
