I just made a new Mokuzen main page. Hooray for minimalism! The old one had been there for long enough, methinks.

In other news, HELP. I'm getting really ticked off at the portfolio layout I've been working on this evening. I don't know what to do, because the minute I put in the Doctype tag, it adds these farking gaps at the bottom of each table cell. They show up in IE, too, and I can't get rid of them. Of course, if I get rid of the Doctype tag, it looks fine, although some of the text formatting goes wonky. The W3C validator says the code is valid, too. HTML 4.01 haaaaates me.

Any ideas on how to fix? *Please* share. ;_;

Anyway, work was slow, as I predicted. I did some studying, and there's not really much else worth mentioning. Money! <3 I came home and started coding like crazy--I hand-coded all the stuff I've been working on tonight, and I can still crank out the code as well as I ever did. Once I get the aforementioned kinks worked out, the portfolio should be easy to finish, too. And then, there will be many job applications sent out! Gwee!

And I've been up *way* too late for my own good. Going to bed now.

So I fixed that other layout simply by switching over from Strict to Transitional. Jeeeez. No wonder muerte gave me props. ;p

But then, I sat down just now and made this one, which I think I like better. I think the browns of the head and the greens of the other page elements are brought together better in this one. Not so much of the greys, either.

In other news, there's this damned Kohl's commercial that keeps getting that Captain and Tenille song stuck in my head. AAAHHHH! I don't think they even did any other songs that were of any note, did they?

My Important Final is tomorrow. "Important Final" meaning that it's for the class I actually need in order to graduate, that is. Therefore I must STUDY LIKE THE WIND! I also think I may go and work out in an hour or so. I'll probably go to the Rec and practice some forms or something, because I don't think there's practice this week.
