Damn you, Blink 182! ::shakes cane:: But the lyrics seemed appropriate.

Work was insanely busy tonight--we had to turn the phones off 45 minutes early because we couldn't handle any more! Leia and I didn't have much to worry about, though, b/c half of our rides ditched out and weren't even there when we came to pick them up. (Jerks. ;p They could at *least* call back and tell us if they're leaving.) We just got a lot of random rides to crappy, far-off parts of town. Nathanael was flipping out because dispatch was so busy, and Allison was beat from working 2 nights in a row, so I think we were all in a less-than-spectacular mood.

Before work, we went out to see Finding Nemo, but it was sold out! ::boggle:: I wasn't expecting such a high turnout for a kid flick. So, we decided instead to see The Italian Job, which was actually a pretty fun movie! There were a lot of funny bits and some good action sequences, and it reminded us of our Spycraft campaign. And I LOVED Seth Green. He's *always* fun to watch. He's my imaginary Hollywood boyfriend. <3 ::rotfl::

Before that, I played some WCIII, and watched Ep. 9 of Gluhen. God, I need the next episode. I WANT MY SCHWARZ! XD Oh, and I also watched Ep. 1 of Naruto, which I also enjoyed. (I've had Eps 1-6 sitting on my D: drive for almost 2 months, and didn't have any time to watch them until now! x_x) I don't know that everyone else would go for it, b/c most folks I know, myself included, are pretty shoujo/bishounen-crazy. ::laughs:: But so far, it's a fun series.

Oh, [livejournal.com profile] rkelly, I finally got off my ass and burned all the dorky SMAP video clips and PVs I have onto a CD for you--we were just saying today in the car that you could draft the SMAP guys into the Bishounen Herds. ::laughs::

I think I like working backwards through my day. :) Anyway, I'm out.
The things you randomly find in the midst of a perfectly bland Google search: WTF? ::laughs::

Ahhh, sleep. I went to bed ~5a, and got up of my own volition at 1:15ish, although now I'm not entirely certain why I was in such a hurry to get up. I can't think of anything urgent that I should be doing. Well, aside from freaking out because my Comm. Design group *still* hasn't set up any time to finish our project. :p Have I mentioned how much I hate group projects? It's scary when *my* grade is riding on someone else's performance. At least on a solo project, I have only myself to blame if I don't do well. :p

I love The Back Horn's vocalist, for some reason. Usually I don't go so much for scratchy/screamy vocals, but wow, Masashi sings so emotionally that I can't help loving it.

Ack, Ma just called. ::poof::

Happy math!

This is so funny that I just can't take it. Math makes happiness! XD (gleefully yanked from [livejournal.com profile] nukey, who yanked it from someone else)

As for me, I just worked out. Applied for another half dozen Real Jobs™. Had a nice conversation with Ma earlier--she's already starting to make a list of random household items to bring to me when she and Dad come up, and it's still 2 1/2 months away! And she kept asking if I've been using the coupons she sent. Such is the nature of the Chinese mother. ::laughs::

I've decided I like the word "flatmate". Flatmate! It sounds much better than "roommate". If you say "roommate" too quickly, it comes out sounding like "roo mate" or "room ate," which is no good at all.

Anyway, QAF's on in 20, and I'm going to make oyako don tonight! :D Or teriyaki, perhaps. I haven't decided. And maybe some tuna sushi for tomorrow. I'm out of crab, so no there will be no california roll for me unless I go to the store. Oh, I should probably study Japanese and do some CIT reading tonight. Feh, I was trying to ignore that. ;p

Tomorrow = classes, lunch, a trip to the bookstore, and a stop by the art office to make sure I don't need to get any freaky internship paperwork from them before I meet with Todd on Wednesday. And some work on Dean's website, because I *finally* have a few free hours to spend on it.

SHOWER TAIMU!
