So the DDS meeting was short enough for me to get home and watch CSI last night. I don't really know why we had the meeting. Yes, we did talk about the dualies issue (short version: they want us to have double-wheels put on the van, thereby adding another nine inches to the width of an already huge vehicle), but from the sound of things, we're screwed either way. The "alternative" the University has offered us was nothing short of stupid, but the dualies would probably bankrupt the program due to the higher probability of accidents. We've been responsible and accident-free, so arguing that we need dualies to increase the safety of the vehicle is just ignorant.
At least I'm graduating, so this probably won't have a huge effect on *my* work as a driver, but it's stll ridiculous. It's a rotten deal for those who will work for us in the future.
And now, copious Survivor blather. ( Are they smoking peyote out there? )
Tonight = the TMBG show! :D I can't decide if I'd wearing my t-shirt from the last TMBG show I went to would make me look like a goober. But whatever, I'm massively excited about it. And tomorrow, around 5-ish, we'll be seeing X-Men 2. Woohoo!
But first, I must slog through another 3.75 hours of work. Bye for now.
