Survived my oral exam in Japanese, and by some miracle actually improved on my previous score, despite missing several classes and not practicing as much as last time. I was all terrified when I got there, but I actually felt more prepared... how that happened, I have no idea *at all*. ::asdfadsfasdlkfhasldfkh::

James is going home for Thanksgiving this evening, and for some reason, the thought of it gives me a Very Bad Feeling™. I hope I'm just being paranoid.

Otherwise, I am soooooo happy about the holiday. FIVE DAYS OF REST. ;_; I have 10000 things that I hope to get done this weekend. It's easy to waste a 2-day weekend, but a *5-day* weekend takes talent. I think that staying here would help me accomplish at least *some* of what I need to do, because I don't think I can waste the entire weekend on nothing. Travelling is tiring, and expensive, and gives me excuses to be lazy. x_X

BTW, yes, I will be here for break after all, so feel free to come pester me or make plans or something if you're around, as I will probably be alone and bored to tears at some point. ;p

Public Service Announcement: If, in the near future, you should hear me yammer something about ice cream and then start laughing my ass off, this is why. ;p

Today was okay after all. I got done with work and classes, did a couple quick errands, and came home. Had some food, watched some TV, saw James off on his weekend trip. The aforementioned Very Bad Feeling™ seems to have passed, too, for the moment. And I'm now bundled up in a freshly-washed, warm-out-of-the-dryer blankie. Ahhh, the little things.

I want a beer. ::rotfl::

Anyways, I'm trying not to get too moody, but I tend to do that when I'm alone in the house for too long, and nobody's online, and yadda yadda. ^^; Fortunately, there's now Warcraft III in the house to play with, and I can borrow a PC laptop to play it over the weekend, if my video card isn't up to the task. FUN!

Tomorrow will be pretty mellow. I'm not even sure when I'll get out of bed. ::rotfl:: I might go drop in on rhyn and Tim at some point, because they're in the same boat I am for the holiday. :) Hey, maybe I'll go see a movie too, which wouldn't be wholly unusual or anti-traditional for me. Me and my dad used to catch a movie on Thanksgiving every so often, after all. (when your holiday celebration consists of precisely 3 people, you tend to get done earlier than other folks. ;p)
