Mmm, steak.

We had a fun night. We went to Outback Steakhouse for dinner, and it was muy bueno, as always. After that, it was over to the cheapie theater to see The Score. I love watching Ed Norton, I don't know what it is... he's just a lot of fun on screen. And, well, he was awesome in Fight Club too, and darn if that doesn't up your rating a couple points. I thought it was a pretty fun flick overall, and the hacker-type guy they featured in the middle of the movie was hilariously bad. ::rotfl::

I'm not sure what I'm going to do now, but I'm feeling less crappy because I am now armed with cough drops. Woooo! The boys are laughing really hard at something in the next room, so I guess I'll start by going in there and seeing what's so funny.
So I got this e-mail just now from a girl in high school who wants to *interview* me, and not just for some goofy Sailormoon page, either. Apparently she's been a longtime fan of my silly websites and got interested in web design, in part, because of them. So, she turned to me when she needed to do a school project on a field she's interested in.

ME. Me me me me. :O

There is something incredibly flattering about this. I have to say that, when you start making your goofy fan pages and personal interest projects, you don't really expect it to mean a whole lot to anyone but yourself. So it's really startling when someone writes to you and tells you how much you've affected them, and it's not just "hey ur page is kewl" or something of equal depth. ;p Don't get me wrong, those comments are nice to see too, but they don't really say "Hey, you've affected my LIFE."

As a person who doesn't expect, or especially hope, to become a name that everyone knows and admires, I find this really touching. This is the kind of thing that made me stick with those Sailormoon pages for three years, through all the flaming and board wars. There are some really nice people out there.

So yeah, if you're reading this, thanks. :D

Cute!

This says that my hobbit name is Prisca Grubb of Little Delving.

I'm going to rummage up some eatables before I go run the gaming thing.

LOL!

I love X-E. I always hated that stupid blond kid too. :D

Now, to go do... something. I dunno what.
