Yeah, I had my first round of classes today. Scareeee.

So yeah, the first class (continuity for media) looks to be okay. It looks like we'll be doing film-style animation/composition, which is mildly scary to me, but I think I have a couple amusing ideas that I can run with. But before that, there's the first assignment, where you tell about yourself and your goals and such and present it to the class. I have some very corny ideas that will hopefully turn out to be funny. :)

I have about an hour until Japanese, and then I try to get Drawing for Media. I kinda doubt there will be room, though, especially seeing as there were at least 6 people trying to get into Continuity this morning, and there's no way all of them will fit. But here's to hoping, anyway.

Anyhoo, back to work! :O
This thing says that my top 5 Buffy matches are:

#1 Angel
#2 Buffy
#3 Willow
#4 Xander
#5 Dawn

LOL! I find it funny that I got Angel, he was definitely not a character I would have expected to get. But hey, I don't mind being a kick-ass good-hearted vampire. :D (And I'm sure James will be pleased as punch to know that Buffy was my #2 match. ^_-)

Only one complaint though: DAWN?! Come ON, people! ::vomits::
Wow, I spoke some Japanese today! It was just stuff like introducing yourself and asking someone else what their name was, etc, but damn, I feel cool. I feel even cooler because I already knew over half of it, and I haven't even bought the book yet. So that either says: "I AM COOL!" or "I am a BIG NERD that watches lots of anime!" And no, you don't get to choose which one it is, smartass.

I have some time to kill here at work, but as soon as I get done with what I'm doing, I'm gonna scream on over to the bookstore and buy the books I need right away. I'll have to dig into my savings account for that, which always irks me, even though I know that's part of what my savings account is *for*, but hopefully I can put the money back once I get paid.
I heart the fact that WAMU has real-time Online Banking now... everything is so lovely and easy to do and I don't have to talk to dumb people on the phone or drive/bike my ass downtown to the bank! Everything should be so simple.

Anyhoo, I'm going off to the bookstore to buy my Japanese texts, or as many of them as I can afford, anyway. The book is called "Yookoso!" For some reason I find that really amusing. :D
Yep, that's the way of it. I snapped some photos with the digital cam earlier as part of my first assignment for Continuity, and I just got done with my listening practice for Japanese. I'm probably going to work on my Continuity assignment some more until the next Starcraft game opens up. (yes, the guys are playing right now. Crazy kids. ^_-)

Yep, it's back to the grind, all right. Although I'd rather being going to classes and doing homework than trying to find 40 hours/week worth of work to do over at Jcomm.

And speaking of work, I should do some of that tomorrow morning for my second job. x_x But hey, my digital imaging class is probably going to get out early, so there will prally be time... and I can try out the wireless networking at the EMU too. :D

Semi-gripe of the moment: Why is it that all my classes in multimedia have so far been taught by the same two or three people?? Seriously! I had the same guy teaching for Survey and Tools II, I currently have my old Tools I prof for Continuity, and according to the bookstore printout I saw today, I have my Tools II *GTF* for Digital Imaging! What the hell??? It's just WEIRD. Jeebus.

Anyhoo, back to working on stuff.
