I'm tiiiired. I had trouble falling asleep last night, so I didn't get much sleep, and I didn't have time to do Pilates this morning. Oh well, at least I have Aikido today, which is some kind of workout.
James & Co. called a bunch of times between the hours of 1:00 and 7:00am. They're all worried because they think I'm out partying until 3am every time they call and I don't answer. Hello? There's this thing called class, which takes place at 8AM?? Maybe tonight they'll catch the hint and try calling at a more decent hour.
And then, there were the 7 or 8 messages on the machine this morning, which seemed to occur between 1:45 and 1:50am, where it sounded like whoever it was just waited for the machine to pick up, and then basically mashed all the buttons on the phone keypad. The hell?
Heh, James just called me at work like 2 minutes ago. I couldn't stay on the phone though, cos somebody I had to meet with to discuss part of the website showed up like 2 seconds after I picked up the phone. ^^; Cuuuuurses!

More TV and lame art
Jun. 26th, 2001 10:44 amI'm reading the MBTV recaps of Bands on the Run, one by one. I wish I'd discovered this show sooner, because I kinda like it. :)
The first day of actual drawing today was interesting. I determined that I pretty much suck with inks! ::rotfl:: Actually, it wasn't that bad, I was just kind of bored by the choice of subject matter that we were given. I did do a couple neat ones though: one of a childhood toy, for which I drew a well-worn Barbie doll, and one of a "dream", which turned out kind of silly, and not at all real. My dreams are hard to remember, and rarely ever visually stimulating, so I wound up drawing Superfly standing by a can of Yebisu. (a.k.a. the beer that Misato drinks in NGE ^_-) It seemed kind of surreal and neat at the time, anyway. ::rotfl:: Maybe in the future I will scan them for my webbie.

Lunch and phone calls on "company time"

James called again from the road, and talked to me for like 20 minutes or so. Apparently he got all freaked out about my not answering the phone, because he called Steely!Dan and Sarah, and they both said they hadn't seen me since Saturday. According to James, they made it sound like I fell off the face of the earth after Saturday or something. ::rotfl:: So all is good now that he knows I'm actually alive, and just sleeping between the hours of 1 and 7am. Fortunately, James called while I was having lunch, so no company time was burned up. Otherwise, it could have been bad.
I think tonight might be a good night for mozz sticks! Provided I can foist them onto other people, of course... I don't know if I could stand to eat any more of them, personally.

On the good side, I'm *finally* going to see a movie tonight! I know at least Nikki is going, and I expect other people will probably be going along too. Yaayyyyyy!

I go now! I'm not gonna go to aikido though, I think I'd rather take it during the second session instead. My chances of getting in for that class are solid, and it's bloody cold out today and I just want to go home for a little bit before I go anywhere again.
