Tonight

I had a nice, sedate afternoon/evening after work. I helped Steely!Dan move his TV in, which was tougher than it sounds. As he put it, it's just heavy and big enough to be too much for one person, but there's not really enough grip to make it easy for two people to move. But we did it anyway, and I tripped once while carrying it as I was walking backwards. ::rotfl:: Fortunately, the TV isn't broken, and neither am I, so it was all okay.

Anyhoo, after that I bummed around on the first floor for a bit, played some Mario on Nik's Nintendo (OLD SCHOOL!) and Dan made dinner for everybody. Mmmm, spanakopita. :D~~~ And we watched American Beauty along with dinner... I haven't gotten tired of that movie yet. I must buy it sometime!

Which reminds me, I'm supposed to get my Mallrats DVD in the mail soon... where the hey is it? :p

Sweet!

I got my Art History grade, and I rock. I got a full letter grade better than last term! I'm really glad, because I feel like I worked a great deal harder this term, so I totally earned it. Awww yea, buddy buddy! :D My GPA is climbing, slowly but surely. I'm still kind of mad about the B+ in Survey, but maybe I can at least talk to the guy and find out exactly what brought my grade down. I mean, I don't think my final project was *that* bad, but that's the only thing I did for the class without knowing the final outcome of it, so I don't know what else it could be. I totally deserved an A, judging from the work I did prior to that project.

So yeah, go me, and stuff. :D They may turn me into a scholar yet.

oh yeah

I cleaned the house a little while ago. Clean houses are nice! Oh, and Mr. Webcam is on.

I am thinking about doing some Pilates soon. I have a lot of physical energy to get rid of.

It's so quiet in the building today. It's kind of creepy, or at least it would be if the blinding rays of the day star weren't shining in through each and every crevice of this room.

I think I wanna do a little Street Team work after I get out of here today. I haven't had time for the past couple weeks because of finals and projects and crap, so now's a good time for it!

After reading some of the comments left at the Webby Awards site, I'm pretty irritated by some people on both sides of the coin.

So, if you're interested in a wee experiment, watch this space over the next week or so, and we'll see how the two services weigh in.

Dinner is friend!

I made some bitchin' fajitas just now. I love fajitas. :D And I have some filling left over that I can eat later in the week, without having to cook. Awww yea. :D

This site has some really cute things on it! But I agree with Jess, Kogepan is not cute at all. The whole thing of him being a slightly overbaked piece of bread is interesting, but the character is not cute-looking at all... just kind of freaky.

I don't know what to do now. Star Trek I is on TV right now, although it's partway through, and it's been so long since I've watched it that I wanted to watch it start-to-finish. (Comment when seeing part of it earlier: "Uh, why is that chick bald?") Mmmaybe I'll just watch my Mallrats DVD! I love that movie.

Addendum: Being true to the agreement, I'm doing most of my posting in the experimental blog, soooo you might wanna check there for anything that I neglect to mirror in my LJ. Don't worry, once next Thursday rolls around, you won't have to check in two different places in order to read my inane ramblings. ^_-
