Fun times

Tonight was celebratory down time for me, because my last exam was over for the midterm/paper period. We watched The Thin Man at Felicia's, and it was probably the best movie we've watched yet. Some of those old movies are really, um, not that good. But this one was! I feel bad that I was tired and dozed off for a couple minutes, because the parts I was awake for were damned good.

Tomorrow I go to Survey at 8am. :p And then I go to work for 5.5 hours, and then I hit choir. And THEN I run around near campus for half an hour doing Street Team work, and then I meet Josh at 5 to create my character for the BESM campaign that he's starting. I'm getting carted off this Saturday, so I can't be there when everyone else does it. x_x

Time for bed. ::poof::

Awwww yea.

I just looked in the mirror earlier as I was getting dressed, and I think my abs are starting to look more defined. Boo-yah! Pilates is cool.

I'm surprisingly awake considering how early it is, and how long it took me to actually get to sleep. My energy seems to spike late at night, and my brain is always hyped up... that's always when I think most about things, consider my fate, have an epiphany, etc., and I hate it. While it is nice to know that I regularly think about the things that are going on around me in a serious fashion, it's almost as though my body is conspiring to keep me from ever settling into an Early to Bed, Early to Rise sleep pattern. ::sigh::

Overheard

[outside after Survey, just after I pass some random chick with heavy makeup heading in the opposite direction, as I'm approaching some guys near the stairs]

Guy #1: "... I see her around all the time, man, and she's *always* dressed like a hooker--"
Guy #2: "Dude, there's people around! You can't stay stuff like that!"
Guy #1: "Why not?"
Guy #2: "It's a public place!..."

I wasn't expecting to hear the latter guy blow up at his friend over the initial comment, but I'm also glad that he did, because while Guy #1 may have been right in his assessment of the girl's appearance (I didn't really pay attention to her attire when she passed by me, so I couldn't tell you), that's just not the kind of thing you air out in front of a bunch of strangers. Go Guy #2!! :D

Not-so-psychic prediction

It's gonna be Tina tonight. She is master of her own fate! I think she has pissed off the jury members less than Colby has, too, which is important. Challenges will only get you so far, cowboy.

About class

Class this morning was kind of cool. They showed some interactive media pieces that were pretty wacky... there were lots of laughs. He also had a brief overview of upcoming class periods, including one that would be devoted to his own interactive media project, which I have heard some incredibly scary things about. Maybe I'll use my remaining free absence for the term on that day. ^^;;;;

Oh yeah, and Bed Hair Guy wasn't in class today! He must have run out of coffee or something. ::rotfl::

STUPID bathrooms are all closed in this building! I had to walk over to Lawrence earlier to take a wee. How annoying. :pppp

Fortunately, that potty break also alerted me to Multimedia Pre-reg for Fall Term, so I printed out the forms and filled them out. Apparently, if I plan things out right, I can take *three* multimedia courses for each term from here on out, rather than the two that I originally thought I'd be limited to by the pre-reqs. If I can get ART 233 out of the way this summer, then I'll be all set to go! :D

It's time to run off for the rest of the afternoon now. Wheeee. Byebye!
