YOUGUYS. I didn't expect to be saying it this soon, but: I'M BOUTING THIS WEEKEND.

The Coos County league is apparently short on skaters for their bout on Saturday night, versus the Rainier Roller Girls. One of the girls I know from RCR knows them, and put out the call for a couple of extra girls.

I said yes.

So, yeah, shortly after I wrap up at Fresh Meat practice, I'll be grabbing a carpool up to Seattle and playing an actual game! They're even making me a shirt with my number on it. Eeehehehehee.

Anyhoo, on the off chance that anyone I know is reading this, and either A) in Seattle, or B) feels like randomly driving just under 3 hours to watch me play, here is the link for venue and ticket info: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/227273

Dude, that would be AWESOME. I already had one other skater ask me about getting a ride up there, so if you were up for driving, I can get us up to your place, and we would both gladly pitch in for gas! I'm sure your wagon gets better mileage than mine. :)

I think I'm definitely down for this...I don't have anything on my calendar for Saturday and, in all honesty, it would be awesome to get away for a day! The past few work months have gone by in a blur and, before this big push to do an upgrade comes by, I need some down time...

So, short answer long...I'd love to. But, I'd need help with gas, as I said...so, thanks for pitching in.

Betty Bomber gets about 28mpg (give or take) on the highway - at least she did going to and coming back from Phoenix (and that was weighed down with a ton-o-shiat in the trunk and back seat)...I don't think she'd have any problems getting to Seattle and back. I'll just need to check the oil and such, etc etc...

So...details, details, details...what are the details? What time would we leave? Who's coming with? Yadda yadda yadda...

I'm working from home tomorrow, so, drop me a line whenever. if you want to get lunch, let me know. I have a phone meeting at 1030am for an hour and then I'm free...and if nothing else, I'll see you for "Bad Movies".
