Weekend forecast

Holy crap, I have a busy weekend ahead.

First off, I would love if you came to see my wushu demo on Saturday evening! There are also other cool performances, and dinner is included.

After that, I'll hopefully be done in time to make it out to virgoqueen7's gig! And then, if I am not too tired, it's off to the Casa for Bizarre Kids' Movie Night.

On Sunday, I have a Naked Lady/Craft Party to stop in on, and then I hope to make it over to a board game night after that.

And THANK JEEBUS I am tkaing next week off, because I have a holy crapton of web work to wrap up, and wedding photos to process. We got two album orders from summer weddings in the queue, and one of the couples also wants some extra images on CD, too. Just because wedding season winds down around the end of summer, doesn't mean you're free of it.

And there are senior yearbook photos to tangle with after that... which, fortunately, is not so daunting in terms of quantity. :)

I would also like to do some SRS COOKING before I head out for Thanksgiving. Hopefully I'll make some time.

Not sure yet! Vaguely considering a housewarming party after wushu practice, but also considering staying home with dinner and Hulu, because I've been running around a lot this week. I'm open to other suggestions!

Well I saw your post about being short on going-out-for-fun cash so I was thinking of offering to treat you to some drinks, maybe at happy hour at the Jade Lounge? I totally understand wanting to avoid extra running around, though.

I can't really do happy hour stuff on Tue/Fri because of wushu; it's pretty much impossible to squeeze it in between getting off work and going to practice. I'd basically have to leave again right after getting there, heh. :) Unless they have a late-night happy hour?

I'm open to doing stuff later tonight though... or maybe happy hour on Monday? How late does it go there?

Oh that makes sense. Durp. :p I think happy hour there stops at 6 or 7, sadly. I'm not sure what I'm up to later tonight. The answer is supposed to be "homework" but I tend to fail at doing responsible things on Fridays. Monday might work, although I might have to write a paper that night.

I'm not sure; maybe you can check with the folks at U of P? I'm just performing, so I don't know what their plan is for food. (I imagine there'd be *something* vegetarian, though... I mean, this is Portland we're talking about)
