At first, I kind of figured I'd just post things here, but family seems interested, and once word got around at The Job, some of them were also interested in hearing about it. So, I figured I'd set up a separate space for the whole Trip Experience, rather than pointing all of them to my LJ. After all, the only reason I mention The Job here is for the purpose of complaining about it, and workpeople don't exactly need to see that. XD
Seriously, though, I LIKE not having to friends-lock every single thing I post here. I think my internet exploits are the one instance where the anonymity provided by my incredibly common first name is actually a good thing. I can just attach the things I *want* to be known for to my incredibly uncommon last name, and leave the more personal muck to the depths of Teh Interwebs. It's rather nice.

marykae birthday karaoke was truckloads of fun last night. Sorry that I caught a lot of you guys as you were heading out. :/ I need to work on punctuality. Still, it should be noted that bellybalt was the only male personage with the gonads to take on the Journey song for our group sing! And katlyn's hair looks amaaaaazing.
I really hate packing. I've been working on it all afternoon, and I'm still not done... probably because I keep stopping to dick around on the computer. But, I AM leaving tomorrow! As I was saying last night, this pretty much feels like a normal weekend, so it probably won't hit me until I get up tomorrow morning, and find myself at the airport, instead of at The Job.
