Two Things
May. 14th, 2009 12:26 pm1) Speed Shoot signups close soon! If you want in, decide by Saturday. I have to make the schedule and such after that. :)
2) What the hell do you do with rhubarb, besides making pie? I've been doing astoundingly well with eating healthy, but I got a stick of rhubarb in the last CSA box, and I don't know what to make with it that won't be filled with refined sugar or lard or god-knows-what.

Date: 2009-05-20 07:15 pm (UTC)The first is that I can never get a quality photograph of me. My girlfriend disagrees, but, maybe that's all I should shoot for (no pun intended). I could get a nice picture I won't cringe at when my parents put it up on their wall or in their wallets or wherever, and that can be sent to my grandparents and my girlfriend's parents... (actually, her parents have been bugging her for a good picture of her and she's notoriously camera shy...maybe I should have her donate, too!
The second thought was something more involved, at least, a little. Something very doll-like, maybe with pigtails or dolly-esque dress. It would be more artistic, and the result would be good, but I doubt my parents would hang a picture like that up in their house! *giggle* My mum would love it, but my dad...eh, whatever. So, I'm torn between the two. Any thoughts would be appreciated! And if I had to guess, I'd say indoors is probably better at this point, to have more control over the lighting and what's behind me, I think?
Thanks,
Catie

Date: 2009-05-22 12:35 am (UTC)Doll-like would be rely more on styling, so that depends on how you feel about your makeup skills and whatnot. So yeah, you in "normal mode" would probably be easier on you, but it's ultimately your call. Either way, we can do it in the studio no problem. :)
