At home sick today. Slept like crap last night. Booooo-urns!
I had the thought that it would be awesome if there was a service that would come over and do stuff for you while you're sick. Basically, things that you have no problem doing for yourself when you're healthy, but when you're sick, and the simple act of standing in one spot wears you out, they don't seem terribly doable.
So, yeah, you could rent a person to come over and do things for you, like a gofer. Things like renting a video, tidying up, going to the store, or fixing decent food that might actually help you get better. (seriously, who actualy cooks anything decent for themselves when they're sick?) They could even come over and get your kids fed, packed up, and off to school in the morning, so you can get some extra recovery sleep.
I kind of wonder what people would pay for such a thing. I certainly wish such a thing existed today, because I'm getting really tired of YouTube videos. :/
Well, for now, I guess I'm walking. At least the sun is out, and there's no narsty weather to make me even more sick. Huzzah!
