This is unexpected: Mitt quit! I have mixed feelings about that; I don't love the guy by any stretch, and I wouldn't be likely to vote for him, but he at least seems to know a thing or three about economic issues. Of course, the million dollar question is whether he'd use that knowledge for the country's gain or for his own, but I guess it's moot now.

I made EatingWell's mac and cheese last night, and I used 2% Milk cheese to shave off some more calories and fat, and rice milk because it was all we had... but it was still yummy! It hit the sinful mac-and-cheese spot with me, but I still got my veggies and whole wheat. That's a total win.

In other news, I have to say that, after working on so many of the plus-size shoot photos, and getting another batch of edits they want finalized for the online magazine, I'm getting a bit of Photoshop burnout. I noticed this when I realized that I'm currently doing a website design concept for The Job in Flash. I am CHOOSING TO USE FLASH when I don't have to, people, and y'all know how I feel about Flash. I take that as a sign.

I do love how the photos are turning out, though. I'll have more to share soon!

I can't believe how ecstatic I am about Romney quitting. I was so terrified of him winning the Republican nomination.

Huckabee's not much better, but I don't want either homophobe entering the White House, even if it means having (ugh) McCain instead.

Roughly, I think I'm voting for Obama if he wins the nomination, and I'll probably decide at the last second if Clinton wins the nomination (unless Huckabee stages an upset).

I'm sad that Mitt's out. I actually liked McCain in 2000, and hoped like heck he'd beat Bush, and then felt sorry for him after all the dirty tricks played on him. As he got older and older, though, he seemed to sense his chances slipping away and he turned into a total opportunistic douche bag. I'd vote for any of the major candidates over him at this point.

feels un democratic

Of late it seems that our elections are getting more un-democratic. The way the primary candidates are being picked seems convoluted and not really taking into account the will of the people.

Oh well I am glad Romney is out, I didn't much like him. Huckabee scares me, alittle too much religion mixing with government IMO.

McCain should have been the last republican candidate, over Bush, but the republican party was stupid. At least with McCain I doubt that he will not get us into a unnecassary war, even if he doesn't want to pull out of Iraq real soon.

Go Dems! I am voting for which ever gets the nomination at this point, Clinton or Obama.

Of course since I live in Oregon its not like my opinion counts for squat.
