Wushu Demo on Wednesday! We're performing for International Week at the EMU Amphitheater at 11:50am. It's my last demo as part of the UO squad, so if you've been wanting to come see, now's the time.

I registered an Assumed Business Name with the State of Oregon today! I'm oddly excited about that, heh. :D I've been using the same name for a while, now, so it's probably high time I made it official. At the very least, I won't have to worry about it if somebody makes a check out to the company name, instead of my name. (it's happened before)

Kicking around at Horsehead with workpeople was fun, although I was one of exactly two people in the whole group who actually still works at The Job... and I'll be leaving at the end of this week. Kind of funny. :) Karaoke almost didn't happen on Friday, but [livejournal.com profile] divadrummer rose to the occasion, so off we went! The rotation was long, and I really need to stop doing higher-pitched songs until I get rid of my allergy/coughing problems, but otherwise it was good times. :D

Went to open gym at NAAG on Saturday, and gynmastics floor is kind of fun to hop around on. The conditioning we did at practice on Wednesday and Friday kind of killed my legs, so I didn't pull off any aerials, and I gave myself a floor burn trying to do a gainer, heh. But! It was fun anyway.

Got coaxed into going to a strip club by Sunya and Jen later that evening... ha! It was about as boring as I expected it to be--something about the whole interaction is comical, at best--and Ben didn't want to stay long, either, so that was a short-lived expedition for the two of us, at least. We did karaoke *again* after that, but this time it was Andy's idea. Only got to sing once, though, because we got a late start and it was effin' crowded, but eh, whatever.

The weird bit was getting dragged out onto the dance floor between karaoke sets by some really drunk girls, who felt like dancing in that "freaking" style. Firstly, this female stranger was getting way more grope-y with me than *any* guy ever has, which was just weird. Secondly, I suspect that they thought I needed to loosen up, because I wasn't all excited about dancing with them. But, no, I was just thinking that freaking is a *really* boring way to dance, thanks.

Went to lunch yesterday with [livejournal.com profile] junsiew, and we talked about going to Europe in a few months, because we're nuts. ::rotfl:: Yeah, it doesn't seem likely to me, things being where they are right now, but a lot can change in a few months, so I guess you never know. Ben and I watched Little Miss Sunshine later on, which was actually a pretty cute movie.

Anyhoo, this week will be rough, because I have a lot to get done. I apologize in advance if I'm completely nuts at any point during the week.
