Well, couple of my photos got approved at iStock, so let's see if I sell any. ;) I have some really great ones from Thursday's shoot, because I was struck with the idea of having the guy pose with my Powerbook, and they look very sellable. I kind of wish they were on a lighter background, but they still have potential for bringing in some dolla' bills.

We did a photoshoot on Saturday, and it turned out pretty darned amazing. I managed to get a makeup artist to come down from Albany and do the model's makeup, so that was already a bonus. And, the model turned out to be really good; she was self-directed and busted out the poses, so I think we got some great stuff. That's the second time we've gotten somebody really good from a Craigslist posting. It's rather amazing how many good opportunities I've stumbled upon from Craigslist, actually! Nice place to live with cool roommates, skilled models to photograph, various other opportunities... woo!

Halloween party on Saturday night was fun! My costume arrived *just* as I was leaving the house for the photoshoot, so that was a relief. ^^; I'm really pleased with it, and there were even a few people who guessed what it was, much to my surprise! Hopefully I'll get some photos when I don my getup again tomorrow. Anyway, I stopped in at a workpeople party, but a lot of the workpeople I was expecting to see there weren't actually present, so I got kind of bored and left after an hour or so. The party at Ben's turned out pretty nicely though. It was a good size; definitely fun times, but not *too* crazy. :)

Yesterday was good. Massive breakfast, watching BSG, playing racquetball... definitely the kind of day I've been craving for a while.

In other news, daylight savings can die in a fire. I got up an hour earlier than I had to today, because the clocks rolled back this weekend, and the alarm wasn't set back. ;p It did leave some time for tea and laying around, though, so it wasn't all bad... just, man, I'm sleepy.

Well, back to the usual grind. Wushu, photo editing, and hopefully some food shopping tonight, because my cupboard is looking bare. Whoof! Oh, yeah, and I'm theoretically supposed to put something together for a potluck tomorrow... lord knows what that will end up being, heh.
