batskeetsWell, I guess I'm doing Halloween after all! :D There's still a party at work on the day of Halloween, and eBay has given me hope. I am still feeling a bit let down, because my real dream was to make a Xianghua getup, complete with mad straightsword skillz. But yeah, damaged sewing machine, not enough time to make it, yadda yadda.
So, by the power of eBay, I'm now waffling between a FFX-2 gunner Yuna or crossplaying as Sasuke from Naruto. ::rotfl:: I can't decide. ^^;
So, I guess Yuna is slightly in the lead, judging from the above. I think shipping time will be the true deciding factor, though, once I hear something back from the sellers, but either way, YAY!! I love Halloween, so I'm excited at the idea that I may be able to work something out. :D
Last night was rather nice. I got some stuff done, but I also had time to sit around and relax. (and look for costumes ^^;) I love my No Gym Day. :) Tuesday seems like such a random day for it, but it's so good for my sanity. I never feel rushed when I work out on the weekends, but I *always* feel rushed during the week, so one weeknight without a lot of running around crazy does me a lot of good.
I need a haircut badly. I would like one today, but I don't know if that'll happen. ^^; But, on a slightly better note, I think I have figured out what I will wear to the wedding. And no part of the outfit is black! Shocking, I know.

| Gunner Yuna: ++ Looks super-cute! + People are more likely to recognize what the costume is from, since it's from a popular video game. -- It's rather skimpy, and possibly uncomfortable. - Not sure what to do about the hair, seeing as mine is totally the wrong color. + Accessories are included, or are things I already have. + Get to carry toy pistols around and feel like a bad-ass. |
Uchiha Sasuke: - Not as cute. I'd be trying to masquerade as a guy, after all. ;p - Only fellow anime dorks are going to know what I'm supposed to be. ++ More modest, and way more comfortable. + With liberal application of product, and my current hair color, I could do *perfect* Sasuke hair. :) - Would have to pay extra for cool accessories/shoes. + Get to wield throwing stars daggers and feel like a bad-ass. |
