Why is it that, the one time you actually need to be up earlier than your usual, you can never get to sleep the night before? I was supposed to be in for a 9am meeting this morning, but lo and behold, in spite of my concerned effort to try and get to sleep at a decent hour, I tossed and turned until after 2:30am.

I still made it in for the meeting, but wow, am I not a happy camper right now, because I am SO TIRED. On the up side, I get to leave earlier than usual, because I arrived earlier than usual. Happiness, oh yes.

As you may have guessed, my Valentine's Day was uneventful. There has been too much illness going around these past few days to plan anything really enjoyable, so I'm thinking it'll have to wait until the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at wushu practice, though, because I got there yesterday evening, and was basically showered with little candies and cards from several of my teammates. [livejournal.com profile] craftyran also left one under the door for me and James. Aaawww, everybody's so nice. :)

It's rather silly that I was given so much chocolate on the first day of my self-imposed junk food detox period, because I totally can't eat it, and I kind of don't want to right now. (I ate wayyyy too much Kraft Mac-n-cheese and other similarly junky convenience food while I was sick, simply because it took less effort to make) But eh, the chocolate will keep for another week or two, right? :)

Training is going to be hell on wheels for the next 2 weeks. Tournament on the 26th, and I have a week-long period of complete inactivity to compensate for. Greeeeeeeaaat. :p

That's all I've got. Brain hurts. Time to plan out more Flash movies about math.

P.S. James totally needs this userpic:

I assume it's because your brain has a paranoid alarm clock built into it, so that if you're worried about getting up early, it will ensure that you do. Possibly several times.
