Anybody have a cure for sleepwalking, sleep-talking, and that sort of thing? I have a bit of a history of doing some bizarre things in my sleep, and I'd really like to, you know, stop doing that. :p
I am in the Worst Mood Ever today. Well, okay, not the worst *ever*, but it's pretty bad.
Yesterday was pretty okay. I took some time on my lunch break to do a bit of shopping, and got new workout pants and a belt. The belt was really cool and I loved it, and it even kind of matched the outfit I wore yesterday, so I put it on right away. And wouldn't you know it, it BROKE, after I'd had it for less than 6 hours! Grrr. I'm taking it back later today to see if I can swap it for a non-broken one, because really, that's just unexcusable.
Practice yesterday was fine. It was rough, but I expected that. We went out for pizza afterwards as part of a fundraiser, so that was fun. I almost didn't go, because I'd already had pizza twice earlier in the day--leftover pizza for lunch, and a slice at the office in the evening--so the thought of more pizza didn't sound very appetizing. ;p But, they wound up ordering my favorite kind (Hawaiian), so they sucked me in after all.
So, yeah, NO MORE PIZZA for at least a good week or so. Or I will hurl it in your face. ;ppp
In other news, my foot is doing quite awesome. I wore my favorite pair of heeled boots out to the pizza gathering last night, after not wearing them for a least a month. I hadn't really noticed a lot of difference in it post-op (well, aside from the absence of pain, of course), but WOW, putting those shoes on and feeling the difference really drove it home. I <3 health insurance!
Weekend is shaping up nicely. May or may not see National Treasure, because something about that movie compells me to go. (probably the conspiracy theory fun. Or Sean Bean. Toss up, really.) Will probably make an appearance at an office-related party on Saturday. I'll probably go yarn shopping at some point over the weekend, too.
Also: HAPPY BIRTHDAY
craftyran! :D
I think that's all. Feeling marginally less grumpy now.

Date: 2004-11-18 03:11 pm (UTC)Drink HEAVILY.
Or not.
What was the deal with your foot? I'm vaguely aware that something was wrong with it and that you had some kind of operation on it or something, but I missed the actual diagnosis.

Date: 2004-11-18 03:52 pm (UTC)Re: the foot-- it was Yet Another Ingrown Toenail. ^^; This time, it was the same toe (big toe) on the opposite foot. The guy who fixed it was the same guy who fixed my other toe last time, though, so this should be it for nasty toe issues! :D ::crosses fingers::

Alone.
In my house.

Date: 2004-11-18 06:44 pm (UTC)Of course, that's because I don't know anyone, and if I *did* know someone who wanted to drink with me, they'd probably be the kind of person I wouldn't like.
OTOH, this means I can buy decent booze and NOT SHARE IT. XD
You needed an operation for an ingrown toenail?? Yick. How did you let it get that far? Mine try to pull that crap, but I don't let them.

Date: 2004-11-19 10:14 am (UTC)I have no idea. x_x Everything I tried provided temporary relief, but it'd just grow back again a week or two later.
Really, the "operation" was just them shooting up my big toe with some anesthetic, clipping out the sides, and then destroying the nail bed at the sides so that part won't grow back in again. It took maybe 10 minutes. ::shrug::
