Not feeling particularly verbose today.

--I took a sick day yesterday, after waking up in lots of pain. I can't seem to stay out from behind the 8-ball for very long, it seems.
--I learned what my Resting Metabolic Rate is yesterday, and apparently it's pretty huge. No wonder I'm hungry all the damned time.
--Busy weekend ahead. Craft party tonight, a birthday party tomorrow night. And working to make up for the sick day. This is not great news, because right now, all I want to do is sleep. I should be better tomorrow, though, I hope.
--I need to harass people about their availability, but I haven't yet. As for why that is, see previous item. :p
--I still can't think of anything for my stupid Christmas list. What is my major malfunction with this? I never *used* to have so much trouble thinking of things I wanted for Christmas.

barndawgg's party happens to fall on James' birthday. I'd like to go to the party, but to skip town on J's birthday would be super-lame.

Please knock me unconscious for several hours. See, everyone feels sorry for you if you are knocked unconscious by a third party. But if you voluntarily go unconscious, i.e. falling asleep? Not so much.
