In the interest of making things easier on my eyes, I'm *finally* trying a higher screen resolution. Everything is TINY. I'm not sure how this is easier on one's eyes, but the sheer quantity of code that can be displayed on my screen at once is already a bonus.
I haven't complained about this yet, but it's long overdue: I officially hate the telemarketing/business establishments that call your house, and then when you answer, it's just a stupid recording saying something like, "I'm calling with an important message! Please stay on the line!" And of course, the recording keeps repeating itself every few seconds, until a live person gets on the line and talks to you.
Seriously, is it wrong for me to find it obnoxious when someone calls MY house, and then puts ME on hold, expecting me to wait until THEY get around to talking to me? I think not.
Yesterday, I heard that there would be a karaoke expedition involving Work people, but I didn't make it, mainly because I was wushuing until 9:15p or so, and they'd have been a good two hours into it by the time I showered and got over there. I had fun at wushu and all, but still, BOOO! I hate having to choose between two things I really enjoy.
Today, I go forth and lift like crazy. And then I go home, watch my usual round of Thursday TV, and rejoice in the almost-Fridayness. W00t! Maybe I can check in on my Sims, too, eeehehehehee. :)
