Hee, it seems that they've been showing all the really classic South Park episodes lately. South Park is rather hit or miss as a generality; some episodes have me rolling in the aisles, some are just too patently Wrong to enjoy. But sometimes? Genius.

I ordered a HotSync cradle for my palm yesterday! :D I didn't buy one when I got the Palm, because I figured they'd be ridiculously expensive, but I looked today and found one for under $4. (of course, I have the super-ultra-ghetto m100 model, so that probably helps in the cheapness department)

Yoga was tough again yesterday, and a little less fun. I think I liked the early-morning instructor better than the evening instructor. :( But overall, still not bad at all.

And now, something not-so-fun: Has anyone ever gotten one of these e-mails before?

****NOT COMMERCIAL EMAIL****

A user at our website is researching your background.

Someone has begun the process of meeting people who know you via our website.

This email was sent to you to make you aware of this fact.

Our website is the simple solution to this problem. People submit their shared experiences on people who they know. The authors of such information are either looking for knowledge or have knowledge to share. Users from around the world can search for and find such word-of-mouth information. Once it is found, the user can then contact the author to begin communication regarding the subject of the search.

(and so on, and so on...)

I mainly mention this because, you know? For some reason, that CREEPS ME OUT. x_x

I'm sure said creepiness is the whole point of how they worded the e-mail--to get you spooked enough to join up with their stupid website and pay them money and junk. But still, that's just mean. :p

Anyway, I should get ready to face the day.

You know, you're right. South Park IS hit or miss sometimes. One of the best newer eps was the one with Cartman and the pubic hair. (I won't mention more in case you haven't seen it.) I'd still like to own most of the series.

I liked the one where they were anime characters too.

LOL, that one *is* pretty good. :D Although it's not really that new anymore, I don't think... I have no idea what the most recent season number was. ^^; I think my favorite of the newer ones is the Queer Eye/Crab People episode. :)

*LOL* Crab people, crab people! That one was great. XD

The newest season number is 8, but I stopped watching it in HS (back when it was like season 2/3 or something) and started watching religiously a few months ago so I missed a lot of eps.

OMG, I've gotten that email twice this week, and it IS creepy!! Mainly because for some reason, my spam filter never gets it. O_o

I've gotten it several times before, and I got it twice again last night. May be it's just me, but it always has such a creepy, vaguely ominous, "You're being stalked and you don't know who the stalker is!" feel to it. Ew. :p

And yeah, it always seems to get past my spam filter, too.

I've gotten a couple of those.. The whole idea just seems wrong. If someone is doing a search on you, there's no reason you SHOULD know about it. Like, imagine if google emailed people every time someone did a search on a name or email address. Why would you even WANT to know?

And yes- South Park can be a bit lame, but lately they've been pretty kickass.. just got the first 4 seasons on DVD, so I need to go back through those (half to refresh, half for the little bits they do before each episode- "..And this here's Scratch! Say hi, old fella!"), since we've gone through all of 5-8 from downloads. Oh, and the pubes epidode (Scott Tenorman Must Die) was the first from season 5. ^_^ And yes, Fun With Weapons was The. Best. Episode. Evar.

My new boss just did a background check on me, but I had to sign a waiver. The only information people can legally obtain about you without you signing a waiver is public record stuff (voter registration, name, address, marriage licenses, age, tax records, court records, etc). I dug up the social security number of a public official once, but that's only because he got married before they stopped putting the numbers on marriage licenses in Lane County. So I wouldn't worry about it ;)
