For any concerned CSI fans who heard about the firings last week, Nick and Sara got their jobs back! Phew.
Thank GOD it's not quite so hot in here right now. I was about ready to start melting over this weekend, but right now it's actually almost temperate in here. Of course, by noon, it'll be sweltering again, but I'll be asleep. ;p I hope it cools off, because it has been too hot to cook anything, and I'm already getting sick of eating cereal, sandwiches, and takeout.
I also have to feel sorry for the kids competing in the Junior Olympics over at Hayward over the next few days, too... doing track and field events in this kind of heat can't make it any easier.
Anyway, we started a new Spycraft game on Saturday, just for laughs, and the challenge was to create a foil for your original character. I had to create somebody who was less angsty, less effective in combat, and frankly, kind of a wuss, so I flipped around all the stats, and created a fairly happy-sappy character that likes high fashion, working his hotter-than-the-sun looks, living the high life, and that sort of thing. He was intended to be very cultured and refined, and perhaps set off the gaydar a *little*, but he'd be straight in actuality.
But, when I actually played the character, he suddenly became THE GAYEST GAY OF ALL GAYS. He was a level of flaming on par with Carson Kressley, and it was slightly terrifying. I didn't intend for him to be such a limp-wristed gay man stereotype, it just happened! ::rotfl:: But, to my credit, the adventure wasn't all that conducive to him using his mad powers of persuasion and seduction on the ladies (because there *weren't* any ladies), so it's not *entirely* my fault. ;p Anyway, I haven't really decided if I'm going to actively try to de-gay him or not, but either way, I should have fun with it in the future.
I'm not sure if I've done this before, but here it is, to my best recollection...
