I just hauled C to the airport. I'm feeling very pensive today, so the long-ish drive back was kind of nice.
Work was actually not too terrible, last night. We got some good tips, which is nice, after the tip drought we've had for the past month or so. People were pretty kind to us, too. And, we got to refer to ourselves as The Scurvy Sea Dogs and use dorky pirate jargon all night, because Ty decided that all the vans had to give themselves nicknames to use on the radio. :LMAO! Hey, it was either that, or call ourselves the Haggis Eaters, thereby giving myself an excuse to use a really bad Scottish accent for 5 hours.
I'm thinking about how to fix the ergonomics problem that
pfarley thought might be causing my headaches, and I've determined that my monitor is too low in my field of vision, because I always end up slouching/leaning downward. But, my office chair is already as low as it will adjust. So, I have to either find something to raise this 5-year-old behemoth monitor, or get a new one that's more manageable. Gah, we'll see.
Jeez, nobody bought the extra waffle iron I put up on eBay. I will never be rid of this thing! Blaaaahhh! (Psst,
xplo, drop me a line about the tablet, yes?)
I just got an e-mail about a web dev job in Seattle. Even though they apparently weren't looking for entry-level folks, they still want to see my resume. W00t! Meanwhile, I'm applying for stuff on CreativeMoonlighter. Money? Please?
Hey, speaking of money, I should work on the projects I *do* have. ;p So, I'm off.
