A heads up for those who haven't heard: my Norton AntiVirus e-mail scans have been catching a lot of e-mails infected with Novarg, over the past couple days. Be careful out there!

Disgaea is way too much fun. It hasn't completely sucked my soul, like The Sims did when I first bought it, but I think that's partly because I've developed a bit more self-discipline since then. :) I love the fact that the character designs are just so damned CUTE, and yet they all act like Underworld fiends with the moneygrubbing and backstabbing each other at every turn. It's cute and dark at the same time, which is interesting. I'm way too amused by the Prinnies, too.

I had a short meeting at the startup today, and apparently my print ad went over quite well. I still have to do another one, though, which is going to *kill* me, because they wanted to see it by Thursday, and I have a ton to do between now and then. But, still, good on me. Maybe I can use the happy response as leverage to push back the deadline by one day.

I'm at ye olde Vomit Comet right now. I wis I were at home, doing something else, but I think I'd rather have the money right now. *Especially* since I am still waiting on money from a couple different sources, when I thought I'd have it by now.

Tomorrow will be 10000x busy. The Career Fair is from 10a-3p, I believe, so I'll be heading over there at some point, in my fancy-schmancy suit, and trying to impress random companies. I also have a DDS shift and wushu tomorrow night, and any free time I have in between will be consumed by the print ad, or Minijobbing.

You know, it seems like I'm awfully busy all the time, considering the fact that I'm basically unemployed. :p Bleh, let's hope that changes soon. (the unemployedness, that is)

do you have a contract you use for your freelancing?

Not so much--my existing freelance clients were referred to me through friends and family, so I guess I don't have much reason to mistrust. I tend to ask for an initial fee up-front, though, which seems to scare off the flaky folks.

Plus, I feel like any legally binding contract that I could attempt to write would be really spotty and probably miss something huge... know any lawyers? ::laugh::

I named one of my Prinnies Pippin and tried to turn him into a massive killing machine. ;)
