Today was pretty unproductive. Just a few job apps sent out, basically. I'm unusually sleepy today, and I'm not sure why. This week has been so low-energy for me. Even though, in my mind, I really want to work hard and train hard, my bod isn't really cooperating. Maybe I just need to get more sleep.

I also went to meet up with my Japan Night people this afternoon, but I got there about 10 minutes late, and they were nowhere to be found... WTF? I fired off an e-mail to So, and hopefully I'll find out what happened, or at least I'll convince everyone that I wasn't being a flake. ::shrug::

Wushu was very low-key today, but that was kind of a good thing, I think. I was so totally beat this week that it was kind of nice just to take it easy. I'm getting the new bits of the form down pretty well, too, I think. And! My right split seemed really good today, like almost-touching-the-ground good. Of course, it's kind of hard to tell from first-person perspective, but eh, whatever. It's much improved, either way.

I am so, so tempted to apply for a web designer job at Blizzard. I'm looking at their web site, though, and feeling like I'm not skilled enough for it. I probably am, or at the very least I could become that skilled. I don't know. I'd also be reluctant to call myself a "serious gamer," (which is listed as a requirement) mostly because I'm not up on recent titles. And that's because I have no money. If I had a decent job, I'd have all *kinds* of games! But student life is too meager for these things.

Bah. It's too easy to be self-deprecating. :p Well, as long as it doesn't get in the way of me pursuing good opportunities, it's not getting out of hand.

EDIT: To do tomorrow, because I was lazy today: hiring pages, Minijobbing, e-mails/calls, call AT&T, sample layout for Blizzard, character designs.

I may not get all of it done, because I have a shift at ye olde Vomit Comet tomorrow night, but I should get some of it done, at least.

I know!! I would be so owned if I worked at Blizzard! Of course, that's probably at least half the reason why I feel so, so, *completely* unworthy of that job. ^^;

Meh, you'd do fine. The hradest part would be having to deal with thousands of "OMG SUM GUY JUZ SED I WUZ A HAKCAR CUZ I BET HIM IN STERCREFT KEKEKE" e-mails a day.

I think being prez of the gaming club gives you the right to call yourself a serious gamer! Good luck with the job hunt!

You SO need to apply for Blizzard!! When I saw that listing, I said to Paul that you were the only person that I know I could think of with enough skillz and talent to be able to do it!
