Well, today was certainly not my most productive, but I got my errands done, at least. I was figuring on doing some freelancing this evening, but I may just skip that in favor of readjusting my sleep schedule, and go to bed early.

I think I'll echo chyee's recent thought, and say that there are *so* many bad drivers on the road right now! Especially in parking lots. I swear, people think they can just swerve around all willy-nilly the moment they enter a parking lot, and they *really* shouldn't. My paranoia about my precious car being damaged has definitely gone up in the past month or so, and it's not a good thing.

Random annoyance of the day: I learned last night that the first episode of FLCL that I downloaded has a perfect picture, but no sound whatsoever! So, I downloaded another, and it had the same problem! And yet, all the episodes after it seem to work fine. WTF?

Also: why is it that everyone who calls me asking me to donate money to their cause has a *terrible* phone connection?? I can never hear what these people are saying, and even when I repeatedly ask them to speak up, I only come away with a very basic gist of what their cause is about. And I'm young and healthy, so imagine what happens when they call, say, an old lady whose hearing has gone bad? Not that I have money to donate right now, anyway, but jeez, you'd think that if they were trying to convince you that their cause is a good one, then they'd at least ensure that they're audible.

I suppose I'll go watch the Dead Like Me marathon and work on my knitting, now.

To do tomorrow: freelancing, get some lamb's wool yarn, take some photos, work out, look for jobs.

Gah, if I got a dollar for every bad driver I've seen since I've gotten back, I'd probably be able to pay for all my family's Christmas gifts!

Doesn't it seem like people get worse and worse as it gets closer and closer to the holidays? People worry so much about their own agenda and rush all over town trying to get things checked off their to-do list that they forget why we celebrate Christmas in the first place.

So true, so true. Sometimes I'll get swept up in the rush while Christmas shopping, too, and it seems wrong that a nice, family holiday could possibly lead to activities that stress me out that much! :p Isn't Christmas supposed to be relaxed, loving, and happy?
